Terms of Use

Effective [Effective date]

The short version

  • You must be 18 or older, and only upload photos of yourself or of adults who have said yes.
  • Previews are AI approximations for inspiration, not a promise of how a real haircut will look.
  • Your photo stays yours. We use it only to make your preview, then it's gone (see the Privacy Policy).

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and [Operator legal name] ("we", "us") for your use of CutMirror. By using CutMirror, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use CutMirror.

3. What CutMirror does

CutMirror uses artificial intelligence to show how a hairstyle or hair color might look on a photo you provide. Previews are approximations. They can contain mistakes, may not reflect your hair type, face shape or what a stylist can achieve, and are not professional advice.

4. Your photos and permission

You may only upload a photo if:

  • it shows you, or an adult who has given you permission to use their photo this way; and
  • you have the right to use it.

Do not upload photos of minors, nude or sexual images, or images of anyone without their permission. Do not use CutMirror to harass, deceive or impersonate anyone.

5. Ownership

You keep all rights to your photo. You give us a limited, temporary permission to process it solely to create your previews, as described in the Privacy Policy. You may use your previews for any lawful personal purpose. Please don't present them as real photographs or remove the AI label to mislead others.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service. For example, don't access it with bots or scripts, get around usage limits, interfere with its operation, or try to extract our models, prompts or code.

7. Paid features

If we offer paid features, purchases are processed by our reseller and merchant of record, [e.g. Paddle], whose checkout terms also apply. Refunds follow [refund policy].

8. Disclaimers

CutMirror is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any preview will be accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to CutMirror is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and consumers keep any rights that local law gives them.

10. Suspension

We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts other people or the service at risk.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If we do, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use CutMirror after that means you accept the new terms. Contact: privacy@cutmirror.com.
